Our Client is seeking an Assembler in Montgomeryville, PA.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time temp-to-perm position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Job Description:

• Perform large-scale assembly of aluminum machines
• Assemble products and compile kits to meet customer requirements
• Follow engineering blueprints and drawings to complete assemblies
• Ensure final product meets quality standards prior to packaging/shipping
• Clean and polish finished product
• Inspect finish product for defects
• Using Bill of Materials to ensure all kit pieces have been properly machined and are of accurate length; Ensure all required hardware is accounted for and all pieces have been labeled according to specific customer requirements.
• Ensure final product meets quality standards prior to packaging/shipping
• Complete necessary paperwork for shipping
• Assist with manual loading/unloading trucks and shipping containers
• Operate forklift safely for loading and unloading of trucks and shipping containers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One to two years experience as a machine builder is preferred
• Working knowledge of assembly procedures and techniques acquired through on–the-job training
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Able to receive forklift training and obtain certification
• Ability to read engineering prints and work orders
• Ability to operate repetitively a variety of hand tools safely
• Good mechanical aptitude and measurement skills; knowledge of metric system
• Strong eye/hand coordination
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Capable of following detailed, multi-step instructions
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must wear safety shoes
