Our Client is seeking a HVAC Technician in Boca Raton, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description:

• Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance for HVAC systems, including belt and filter replacements
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Undertake responsibility for repairing and adjusting heat pumps
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance on boiler and cooling tower
• Execute semi-annual preventive maintenance on exhaust fans, replacing belts at least once annually
• Ensure optimal air quality and comfort by managing HVAC controls
• Carry out electrical preventive maintenance on motors, distribution panels, disconnect switches, automatic transfer switches, and other electrical equipment as necessary
• Replace switches, motors, circuit boards, and perform general repairs
• Maintain and troubleshoot controls and/or sensors inside air handlers
• Perform maintenance on electrical heaters, duct work, VAVs / motorized dampeners
• Fabricate ductwork and fittings
• Clean transformers and distribution panels and monitor load
• Provide support to the Supervisor/Manager as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 3 years of commercial / industrial HVAC experience
• HVAC certifications or equivalent experience
• Experience with split systems – commercial/residential
• Previous motor installation, controls, sensors, electrical heater, duct work, VAVs, motorized dampeners, Industrial 3-Phase Power experience
• Knowledge of hydronic and DX equipment including hydronic pumps
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot electrical ranging from 24V to 480V 4ph
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
