Our Client is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Miami, FL.
Earn an hourly rate at this full-time, long term temporary position. Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Description:
- Answer all incoming phone calls
- Resolve patient issues promptly
- Validate patient's identity to comply with HIPAA Regulations
- Validate correct patient/insurance and demographic information
- Perform analysis of patient balances
- Review in detail services billed
- Identify customer's concerns and seek resolution including follow up with other departments
- Process, document, and work all incoming patient mail within a 7-10 day window
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting in a call center environment
- Knowledgeable in a healthcare setting arena
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPPA
- Must be able to deal with difficult callers in a high call volume setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet stringent deadlines
- Knowledge of the Managed Care contracts in order to submit contractual adjustments on accounts as necessary
- Bilingual: English / Spanish preferred
