Our Client is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Miami, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time, long term temporary position. Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls
  • Resolve patient issues promptly
  • Validate patient's identity to comply with HIPAA Regulations
  • Validate correct patient/insurance and demographic information
  • Perform analysis of patient balances
  • Review in detail services billed
  • Identify customer's concerns and seek resolution including follow up with other departments
  • Process, document, and work all incoming patient mail within a 7-10 day window
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting in a call center environment
  • Knowledgeable in a healthcare setting arena
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPPA
  • Must be able to deal with difficult callers in a high call volume setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet stringent deadlines
  • Knowledge of the Managed Care contracts in order to submit contractual adjustments on accounts as necessary
  • Bilingual: English / Spanish preferred
