Our Client is seeking a Quality Manager in Exton, PA.

Earn a salary at this full-time position. Work 40 hours per week.

Job Description:

  • Establish and maintain the site(s) Quality Management System (QMS) which promotes customer satisfaction and positively impacts the financial performance of the organization
  • Oversee all aspects of Quality activities within the organization(s)
  • Ensure projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with the site(s) established policies and objectives in support of existing product and new opportunities
  • Works within a Matrix organization in support of the organization's overall goals
  • Leads internal and external audit activities for the site(s) to ensure certifications (ISO9001/AS9100) and customer/supplier audit criteria are satisfied
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives in support of the site(s) established goals
  • Serve as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
  • Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions
  • Lead root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements
  • Develop and implement business strategies with annual objective goals to meet financial, customer, process and organizational targets
  • Ensure that the trained resources and proper processes are in place to deliver best in class services and solutions
  • Responsible for the Calibration/Maintenance activities of the manufacturing and engineering tooling and equipment utilizing calibration database
  • Responsible for the daily supervision of individual contributors and quality inspectors/technicians in support of the organization to ensure the attainment of the site(s) financial goals, customer satisfaction and employee fulfillment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred. (BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business preferred) OR a minimum of five years of QA experience in a manufacturing organization
  • Expertise in ISO9001/AS9100 procedures and policies
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Good mentor for the entire GEI organization on areas of expertise
  • Confidence and ability to design solution strategies for complex problems with customers
  • Management and participation in cross functional teams
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with Senior Executives
  • Entrepreneurial attitude/self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good reasoning ability (Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions)
  • Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) used in incoming inspection and manufacturing process inspection activities and calibration & maintenance activities
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a diverse matrix organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
