Our Client is seeking a Mechanic / Small Engine Mechanic in Boca Raton, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time, temp-to-hire position. Work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description:

• Perform routine engine maintenance on vehicles, golf carts and lawn equipment
• Work on electrical systems, motors, and controllers
• Test and inspect engines in vehicles, golf carts and lawn equipment for malfunctioning parts
• Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts on vehicles and small engines
• Reassemble and reinstall various components and engines after repairs
• Routine engine maintenance tasks to include tire change/rotation, lubricating parts, oil changes, and spark plug and battery replacements
• Discuss maintenance plans, equipment issues, and work performed
• Maintain accurate and organized records documenting inspections, test outcomes, work performed, and parts used
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• 2 to 3 years of experience
• Experience performing engine maintenance and repairs
• Knowledge of small engines and mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prefer that candidates have their own tool box
