Our Client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk - Insurance in Coral Gables, FL.

Earn an hourly pay at this full-time position. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description:

• Perform account receivable duties
• ERA posting of payments, denials and PLB's
• Insurance and patient payment processing
• Daily downloading of bank statements for various bank accounts
• Optimize timely posting of electronic remits (variances), lockbox remits, insurance credit card payments, patient FSA/HRA payments and checks to match daily deposits
• Communicate effectively with other departments in order to resolve pending information on EOBs to expedite the timely completion of payments
• Research posting delays and issues while seeking resolution

Requirements:

• Must have 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience and understanding of insurance and billing forms especially required fields on an EOB (Deductibles, Co-insurance, Copay and Contractual obligations)
• Associate's Degree preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
• Computer literacy, website navigation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with extensive analytical and critical thinking
• Time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Available to work overtime hours on an as needed basis especially on month end to meet posting deadlines
