Our Client is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at the full-time position. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (May be flexible to a 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule in the future)

Job Description:

  • Bill out all sales and COD invoices
  • Update daily sales registers
  • Post invoices to customer accounts
  • Collect daily tickets and separate them; email copies to customers as needed
  • Void tickets and post
  • Review and follow up on open orders
  • Run customer credit memos and email receipts to customers
  • Post customer payments, make deposits and post
  • Review past due customer accounts
  • Call customers regarding payments
  • Address account reconciliation issues with internal departments and with customers, as needed
  • Work with sales team to keep accounts clean
  • Customer mailings
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must have 2 to 5 years of Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong cash receipts applications experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) Strong with Excel
  • FACTS, Dynamics experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent data entry and problem-solving skills
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Team player with great attitude
  • Ability to work overtime occasionally when needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing needs of the team
