Our Client is seeking an Assembler in Oakland Park, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work a 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with potential for overtime hours on Friday's.

Job Description:

• Study specific instructions, blueprint specifications, and materials, gather parts, sub-assemblies and use of tools
• Assembles small components by examining connections for correct fit
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, work orders, bills of materials, work instructions and other documents to accurately assemble products
• Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to jig board layout, using soldering gun and hand tools
• Maintain supply inventory
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 1 to 2 years of assembly experience
• Medical device or small parts manufacturing industry preferred
• Proficient with hand tools and performing basic small parts assembly
• Ability to work at a workbench and be on and off your feet for most of the workday
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Organized and neat with great attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions as well as blueprints
