Our client is seeking a Silk Screen Press Operator.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Description:

• Operate a Silk Screen Press
• Perform the operations of make-ready, run of jobs
• Handle paperwork as required in the pressroom
• Maintenance and up-keep of the assigned screen press and screen frame cleanliness after production
• Work to ensure quality and consistency with-in production
• Check and optimize ink drying with minimum sheet distortion following set parameters
• Minimize the waste and to guarantee the best possible quality
• Manage the press helper, if provided one
• May be needed to train new employees
• Ensure quality and consistency in production
• Follow safety, security and audit compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Screen Printing or any type of printing. i.e.; operator, helper
• Have mechanical aptitude
• Must be able and willing to learn new methods and systems
• Follow all rules of conduct, safety and directions from superiors
