Our Client is seeking a Facilities Technician in Boca Raton, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment, monitoring systems for problems
  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot facility equipment
  • Perform emergency maintenance after hours as required
  • Install or repair wiring of electrical components, pipe systems, plumbing, or machinery
  • Maintain logs, ledgers, and data as required by federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain good relations with tenants, contractors, and subcontractor service providers
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3 or more years of commercial building maintenance or related field experience
  • Commercial plumbing and electrical experience required
  • General carpentry and roofing knowledge
  • HVAC experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of security systems, emergency systems, and building management systems
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 100 lbs. or more
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Visually inspect machinery and building.
  • Walk up and down stairs or ladders for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.
  • Inspect alarms and emergency alarms – auditory and / or visual.
  • Inspections requiring getting on hands and knees to inspect inaccessible areas.
  • Ability to work weekends and extended hours as determined by business requirements.
  • Climb ladders to adjust air flow and make inspections above ceiling.
  • Able to perform rooftop inspections and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs. or more.
