Our Client is seeking a Dietary Assistant / Steward in Boca Raton, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this full-time position. Work Monday through Friday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Seeking candidates with the ability to work a flexible schedule to provide extra coverage, if needed.

Job Description:

• Assist with patient meals by setting up silverware and beverages on trays, delivering and picking up trays from patient rooms
• Organize and update diet orders, assess new patient admits for food preferences, distribute menus, and assist with meal completion
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients, family, and staff
• Ensure accuracy of meal trays delivered to patients
• Demonstrate professionalism by treating patients with dignity and respect, practicing compassion and empathy within the scope of dietary service
• Adhere to internal and external food safety standards set by the Department of Health

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Florida Driver's License
• Ability to provide outstanding face-to-face customer service
• Willingness to work with hospice patients
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Maintains compliance with department, company, state, and federal policies and regulations
• Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work on-call and weekends
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
