Our Client is seeking a Dietary Assistant / Prep Cook in West Palm Beach, FL.

Earn an hourly rate at this position. Work 40 hours per week, two days a week 6::30 AM to 3:00 PM and 3 days a week 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Seeking candidates with the ability to work a flexible schedule to provide extra coverage, if needed.

Job Description:

• Keep diet orders organized and up to date
• Assess new patient admissions for likes and dislikes
• Distributes menus
• Prepares, cooks, serves all food and desserts for patients with high standards of quality
• Ensures correctness of meal trays delivered to patients
• Ensures patient preferences and requests are fulfilled
• Ensures nutrition rooms are stocked appropriately
• Provides outstanding customer service to patients, patients family and staff; Treats patients with dignity and respect
• Practices compassion and empathy to patients and their families within the scope of dietary services
• Assist with covering for stewarding or cashiering responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Florida Driver's License
• Ability to provide outstanding face-to-face customer service
• Willingness to work with hospice patients
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Team oriented and works well with others
• Abides by and upholds all internal and external food safety standards established by Department of Health
• Maintains compliance with department, company, state and federal policies and regulations
• Shows professionalism, treating others with dignity and respect
• Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work on-call and weekends
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
